Our lab uses genomic and computational approaches to investigate the evolutionary genomics of pathogens and vectors at individual and population scales. Our goal is to produce scientific resources, pursue scientific discoveries in infectious diseases, and make a lasting contribution to improving public health.
The Carpi Lab is located within Purdue University, Department of Biological Sciences. The department contains six different research area concentrations and aims to use molecular, evolutionary, computational, and ecological methods to answer questions in the diverse disciplines of biology. The Carpi Lab is part of the Purdue Institute of Inflammation, Immunology and Infectious Disease (PI4D).
